Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic understanding of MS Office Suite.
• Basic knowledge of credit union programs.
• Knowledge of state and federal collection regulations.
• Two to three years lending and collection experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Contacts members with delinquent accounts to establish payment schedules.
• Maintain documentation of all actions taken, verbal and written.
• Follow up on payments with insufficient funds and irregular deductions.
• Educate members on paying debts timely.
• Identify troubled members and negotiate payment options.
• Update collection reports in a timely manner.
• Prepare and mail delinquent loan notices and related documents.
• Assist with filing documents for insurance claims and collateral protection.
