Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two to three years lending and collection experience.
• Knowledge of state and federal collection regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contacts delinquent members by phone or mail to establish mutually agreeable payment schedules.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all actions taken.
• Follow up on payments made with insufficient funds or payroll deductions.
• Educate members on paying debts in a timely manner.
• Identify troubled members and negotiate payment options.
• Update collection reports accurately and promptly.
• Prepare and mail delinquent loan reminder notices.
