Mercury Systems is seeking a Collections Specialist in Andover, MA to manage credit and collection activities for a defined customer portfolio and help meet quarterly cash metrics. The role collaborates with accounts receivable and requires strong Excel skills and ERP experience.

The position is hybrid out of Andover, MA with a 9/80 schedule and opportunities to improve collection processes while maintaining solid customer relationships and accurate cash applications.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 0-1 year experience in credit / collection.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills related to customer account reconciliations.
• ERP experience is preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Credit and collection activities for assigned portfolio.
• Cash application activities.
• Research and resolve unapplied receipts.
• Participate in weekly AR aging reviews.
• Maximize collection of past-due balances.
• Research and resolve account discrepancies.
• Maintain good customer relationships with internal & external parties.
• Credit evaluations / new customer setup.
• Credit hold maintenance / releasing orders.
• Process credit card payments.
• Access customer portals for invoicing & collections.
• Process improvements to increase efficiency and controls.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
