Rippling is seeking a Collections Associate to join our fintech teams handling delinquent balances across cards, payroll, EOR, and subscriptions. You will work with the Collections Manager to recover past-due accounts through outbound calls, emails, and professional negotiations.

The role emphasizes clear communication, persistent follow-through, and strong judgment. You'll help improve processes, document activity, and contribute to playbooks as our collections function scales.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in collections or AR or a customer-facing financial services role.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Results-oriented with ownership of performance.
• Ability to manage high-volume accounts with attention to detail.
• Adaptable to evolving processes; help build them.
• Proficient with spreadsheets; experience with Retool and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers with past-due balances to resolve delinquencies.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and document activity.
• Investigate billing disputes and coordinate with internal teams.
• Escalate high-risk accounts with a clear summary to the manager.
• Meet or exceed performance targets on key metrics.
• Identify patterns and contribute to process improvements.
