Job summary

AllianceOne Incorporated in Maumee, OH is hiring a Collections Specialist experienced in student loan and purchased debt collections. You will contact customers by phone, negotiate payment options, and manage a portfolio of accounts while meeting performance goals in a professional, empathetic manner.

What You'll Do

Qualifications

Top Priority: Student Loan & Purchased Debt Collections

Strong experience in student loan collections and/or purchased debt.

Familiarity with payment negotiations, repayment arrangements, and account resolution.

Second Priority: Other Collections Experience

At least 12 months of collections experience.

Ability to negotiate payment arrangements and manage customer accounts professionally.

Additional Candidates: Customer-Facing Experience

At least 12 months of experience in customer service, call center operations, sales, or another customer-facing role.

Strong verbal communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills.

Motivation to achieve goals and succeed in a performance-driven environment.

All candidates should demonstrate professionalism, empathy, attention to detail, and the ability to handle challenging customer conversations.
