Job summary

Zwicker & Associates, P.C. is seeking a Collection Support specialist to locate consumers and verify addresses, assets, and income to support collection and legal processes. This non-exempt, full-time role requires strong research, FDCPA knowledge, accurate documentation, and the ability to meet performance metrics in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong internet research and investigative skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Compliance-focused mindset with understanding of FDCPA requirements.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Excellent administrative and phone skills.
• Be able to operate a computer, phone, or equivalent device.

Responsibilities

• Locate consumers and verify current addresses using online tools, printed resources, and investigative research methods.
• Identify and confirm attachable assets, including employment, property ownership, bank accounts, and other sources eligible for garnishment or attachment.
• Request legal actions such as reissued complaints, property liens, wage garnishments, or bank attachments when appropriate.
• Review credit bureau trade lines to determine next steps when no attachable assets are found, including identifying creditors for subpoena requests.
• Verify phone calls and transfer confirmed contacts to the appropriate collection team.
• Maintain accurate, thorough documentation of all research and findings in the Firm’s case management system.
• Meet established performance metrics, including quality, volume, and monthly quotas.
• Adhering to all Firm policies and client guidelines/work standards
• All other duties as assigned
