Job summary

Weltman, Weinberg & Reis is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to review firm-wide collection activities for compliance with FDCPA, client work standards, and firm policies. The role includes auditing calls, developing scorecards, and providing timely quality metrics to clients.

The candidate will identify training needs, generate regular reports, and collaborate with management to improve training programs and overall performance.

Qualifications

• 3 years relevant collection experience and understanding of the legal process.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management to meet deadlines.
• Collaboration with internal departments and external clients for information sharing and gathering.
• Must be able to use Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Knowledge of applicable federal regulations.
• Types a minimum of 35 words per minute.

Responsibilities

• Establishes schedule for monitoring collection calls for department employees.
• Audits unit activities and examines records to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Develops and maintains scorecard system to document caller activities.
• Identifies training needs and refers to management for follow-up.
• Prepares routine reports and submits findings to management.
• Provides feedback to clients and monitors calls for external vendor programs.
• Ensures accuracy of information and quality of delivery by monitoring calls.
