Qualifications

• Two years of collections and customer service experience.
• Microsoft Word and Excel experience.
• Must successfully complete IS100 and IS700 National Incident Management System (NIMS) training within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and courteous customer service to internal and external customers in person, over the phone, and in writing.
• Fulfill a citizen's need and/or request while providing accurate, valid, and complete information to the citizen.
• Handle citizen requests and/or complaints to reach an appropriate solution while clearly explaining the resolution to the citizen.
• Record accurate information on customer accounts.
• Interpret and follow Office Policies and Procedures, Virginia State Code, and City Code.
