TEKsystems is seeking a Customer Service Representative for our Collections Department in Winchester, VA. This contract-to-hire position involves handling a high volume of calls, guiding customers through account status and payment options, and resolving delinquent accounts with empathy and efficiency.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to navigate multiple software systems in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience handling collections or payment-related inquiries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound customer calls in a call center production environment.
• Utilize an automated dialing system to contact customers regarding account-related matters.
• Respond professionally to inquiries and provide accurate information on account status, payment options, and resources.
• Assist customers with resolving early-stage delinquent accounts 1–30 days past due.
• Maintain daily productivity while managing 80–120+ interactions per day.
• Document all interactions, updates, commitments, and resolutions in company systems.
• Navigate multiple software applications while speaking with customers.
• Meet performance metrics for service quality, attendance, productivity, and resolution.
• Adhere to policies, compliance requirements, and customer privacy standards.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure a positive customer experience.
