Job summary

Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs is seeking a full-time Collections Officer to monitor and enforce the WSHA collections policy, focusing on tenant receivables and timely payments.

You will issue collection letters, negotiate repayment plans, counsel tenants, and may appear in Tribal Court. Collaboration with the current collections officer is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred.
• Valid Oregon driver's license required; must be insurable under the tribal policy.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce the WSHA collections policy.
• Monitor tenant receivable accounts and issue collection letters.
• Negotiate repayment agreements with tenants.
• Counsel tenants on importance of paying rent.
• Represent WSHA in Tribal Court on civil actions as needed.

Job Description

Responsible for the monitoring and enforcement of the WSHA collections policy. Represent WSHA in Tribal Court on civil actions as needed. Work hand in hand with the current collections officer and provide backup as needed.

Requirements
