Qualifications

• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities with professional phone etiquette.
• 2+ years of experience in a collections environment preferred.
• Typing speed of at least 35 WPM and strong data-entry skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; comfortable with web-based apps.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with customers to develop payment plans that fit their situations.
• Meet and exceed daily and monthly goals while maintaining quality and compliance.
• Make outbound calls to secure payments or arrange timely delinquencies.
• Collaborate with teammates to support department success.
• Manage a high volume of calls in a fast-paced environment.
• Use skip-tracing tools to locate customers or collateral when needed.
• Work with repossession agents to secure collateral when necessary.
• Reduce delinquency in your queue and contribute to team goals.
• Follow policies to ensure accuracy, compliance, and customer experience.
