Job summary

You will drive sales and service aligned to approved procedures while building trust and long-term relationships.

You will handle complex requests, collaborate with internal teams, and contribute to loss mitigation strategies within regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant collections experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field.
• Knowledge of consumer collections and credit-related processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and problem-solve.

Responsibilities

• Review delinquent, high risk, or written-off accounts for collections opportunities.
• Provide collections-related sales and service to BMO customers or prospects.
• Advise customers on payment strategies and products to meet their objectives.
• Develop long-term, profitable relationships and expand share of wallet.
• Handle customer enquiries and complex escalation cases with tailored responses.
