Job summary

Purpose Financial, Inc. is seeking a Collections Data Analyst to transform collections data into actionable business intelligence.

You will collaborate with Collections, Operations, Finance, Compliance, and Technology to translate complex data requirements into meaningful KPIs and reports that inform strategic decisions. You will leverage SQL, Tableau, and Sigma to extract insights from portfolios, identify improvement opportunities, and enhance process efficiency.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business / Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Finance, or IT-related area. This requirement may be waived in lieu of required job experience.
• 3 to 5+ years of proven work experience in data analytics, preferably within financial services, consumer lending, or collections environments.
• Experience working with collections systems, loan management platforms, or CRM tools is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking and excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and influence stakeholders while delivering results.

Responsibilities

• Analyze collections performance metrics and derive actionable insights to drive decisions.
• Develop and refine collections strategies through data-driven analysis and portfolio segmentation.
• Translate requirements into KPIs and actionable reporting using SQL, Tableau, Sigma, and other analytics tools.
• Create and maintain dashboards for recurring executive reporting on portfolio health and compliance metrics.
• Validate data integrity, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with Data Governance, Compliance, and IT.
