Job summary

Purpose Financial, headquartered in downtown Greenville, SC, seeks a Collections Data Analyst to transform complex collections data into actionable insights that drive recovery performance and operational excellence. You will report to the VP of Collections and partner with Compliance, IT, and Finance to ensure data integrity and regulatory alignment.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years of data analytics in financial services, proficiency in SQL/Tableau/Sigma, and a proven ability to translate

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Finance, or a related field (may be waived in lieu of relevant experience).
• 3–5+ years of proven experience in data analytics in financial services, consumer lending, or collections environments.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and/or Sigma.
• Strong analytical thinking with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with collections regulations and compliance frameworks (e.g., FDCPA, CFPB) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze collections performance metrics including delinquency, roll rates, recovery rates, charge-off trends, and agent productivity.
• Develop and deliver on-demand reports and dashboards using SQL, Tableau, Sigma, and other analytics tools.
• Support forecasting and modeling efforts related to delinquency and recovery projections.
• Validate data accuracy and ensure data integrity across platforms in collaboration with Governance and IT.
• Translate user requirements into technical solutions, including documentation and end-user training.
• Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives within Collections and adjacent teams.
