Job summary

Cypress HCM is seeking an Associate Collections Analyst to join a fintech team in Utah. You will float across 8 products, providing flexible coverage and supporting collection efforts to maximize revenue. Training will build fluency across products, after which you’ll autonomously shift to where work is needed most.

The ideal candidate has 1–2+ years in collections, strong analytical skills, and a customer‑centric mindset. Expect a fast paced, collaborative environment with data‑driven targets.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of direct collections experience preferably in ecommerce, payments, financial service or a similar industry.
• Ability to learn, adapt and train on new processes; touches 8 products, adaptability is essential
• Comfort with a highly variable day-to-day, shifting between products and case types based on team needs
• Logical and rational thinker with demonstrated data analysis and investigative skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills; must balance multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong interpersonal and decision-making skills with ability to resolve conflicts in a dynamic organization
• Nice to have knowledge of payment processing methods including ACH, check, digital wallet, international payments, virtual and credit cards

Associate Collections Analyst

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a growing fintech company!

Responsibilities

• As a Collections Associate on the Collections team, you’ll serve as flexible, floating support across our full suite of 8 products spanning all entities. No two days look the same in this role — you’ll move between products and queues based on where the team needs you most, supporting case influxes, providing backup coverage, and stepping in wherever collection efforts need reinforcement.
• You’ll be equipped with comprehensive training essentials to build fluency across our products, then given the autonomy to float where the work is. The Collections team owns the end-to-end collections process — reviewing each account to determine the best approach, then executing that plan to bring in the maximum amount of revenue.
• The ideal candidate brings collections knowledge and experience, possesses a customer-centric mindset, and can contribute strongly individually and as part of a small but high-performing team to optimize collection efforts and deliver on critical financial targets.

Pay Rate: $21.62/hour
