You will gather, review, and file documentation to remove collateral exceptions while supporting Commercial and Retail Banking functions. The role requires knowledge of loan documentation, title policies, and regulatory requirements, with an emphasis on accuracy and timely processing.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in loan operations preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of loan documentation, title policies, UCC filings and mortgage/deed of trust filing.
• Ability to read, comprehend and evaluate detailed and complex loan documents.
• Proficient typing and computer skills; MS Word, Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provides a high level of customer service when responding to Commercial Officers and Retail front-end staff.
• Gathers and evaluates post close documentation including tax returns, financial documentation, and collateral information.
• Reviews tax returns, financial documentation, and collateral information to satisfy loan exceptions.
• Scans and indexes all loan document types to Synergy.
• Proactively resolves collateral exceptions and sets up collateral tracking.
• Quality Control review of all newly booked loans and renewals.
• Maintains insurance documentation and evidence of insurance; coordinates with insurers to clear exceptions.
• Files documents to perfect collateral types using E-file or mail.
• Mails adverse action and collection letters to applicants and clients.
• Processes requests for verification of deposit and other credit inquiries.
• Provides internal and external customer service via direct, email, fax, or phone requests.
• Must display a pleasant, friendly attitude and maintain confidentiality.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
