Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Collaborative Physician to oversee NP/PA teams at our Overland Park Health Center. The role supports care for employees and dependents aged 2 and up, with hours as needed.

The physician will ensure quality reviews, state-compliant collaboration, and timely consultations, while guiding clinical performance and supervising lab functions where applicable. This is a dynamic, team-based opportunity in a supportive health system.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with unrestricted license in Kansas and Missouri.
• Board certification in an appropriate Primary Care specialty.
• Prior collaborative experience preferred.
• Knowledge of diagnosing and treating human injuries and diseases.
• Knowledge of symptoms, treatment options, drug properties and interactions, and preventive health care measures.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing for the audience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee care in collaboration with NP/PA and consult as needed.
• Conduct quality reviews of patient charts per state regulations.
• Be available to NP/PA for consultations via phone/pager or in person.
• Execute collaborative agreement with NP/PA and renew as required by state law.
• Provide feedback to NP/PA on performance and improvements.
• May supervise onsite RN and co-sign RN standing orders as applicable.
• Oversee site visits and lab functions (where applicable).

As a Collaborative Physician, you'll provide oversight of advanced practice providers providing care to client employees and their dependents ages 2 and older in our Health Center located in Overland Park, KS. The scheduled hours are as needed.

What You'll Do

• Collaborative physicians will conduct quality reviews of patient charts on a periodic basis based on state regulations and/or Premise Procedure.
• Be available to NP/PA as necessary via phone/pager or in person during time the NP/PA is seeing patients or involved in clinical activities to consult on patient care.
• Execute collaborative agreement with NP / PA and periodically renew as required by State law and/or Premise Procedure.
• Provide feedback as needed to NP / PA on performance, including areas with opportunity for improvement.
• Perform any other duties or services required by laws, rules or regulations relating to collaboration with the NP / PA as designated by your state.
• CPs may be required to conduct a site visit to meet with their respective PA/NP as required by state regulations and law.
• May oversee all lab functions including CLIA waived lab and testing if applicable.
• May oversee onsite RN, co-signing RN Standing Orders

What You'll Bring
