Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse to join on a PRN basis for the day shift (7:00am–7:00pm). You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with the care team to ensure safe and effective treatment.

We require graduation from an accredited nursing program, an active TX RN license (compact acceptable), BLS and ACLS within 6 months of hire. An associate degree is required, with a BSN within 24 months of hire; acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Associate's Degree required; BSN within 24 months of hire.
• Current TX RN license (or compact).
• BLS required; ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition on admission and each shift, report changes promptly.
• Perform procedures and monitor patients; document care in medical records; administer medications and respond to adverse effects.
• Provide prompt, compassionate care; anticipate and resolve patient needs.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment plan, medications, and follow-up measures.
