Two Rivers Public Charter School seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher to deliver instruction to students with IEPs and Multilingual Learners, using differentiation and UDL principles. The role emphasizes co-teaching with general education teachers and collaboration with families to support academic and social growth.

Ideal candidates have a Master’s in Special Education (or equivalent) and experience developing differentiated lesson plans, data-driven instruction, and inclusive practices

Qualifications

• Master’s in Special Education or equivalent required.
• Experience leading lessons with IEPs in inclusive settings.
• Ability to implement differentiation and UDL in EL Education context.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and behavior records.
• Prepare progress reports and report cards four times a year.
• Update grades bi-weekly and share with families.
• Plan weekly with teaching team including modifications for identified students.
• Lead co-planning with general education teachers.
• Deliver specialized instruction to meet IEP goals.
• Develop engaging curriculum aligned to standards with multiple entry points.
• Collaborate with families to support student success.
• Participate in Celebrations of Learning and school events.
