Job summary

Springfield Prep Charter School in Springfield, MA is seeking a Middle School Special Education Teacher for an immediate opening. You will plan and deliver specialized pull-out instruction and provide push-in support to students on your caseload.

You will complete IEP and Progress reports in accordance with DESE regulations, using data to differentiate instruction and communicate with families to support student success in a general education setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree by the start of the school year.
• Commit to our schedule: 7:25 am-3:35 pm.
• Classroom teaching experience and/or certification(s) are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver specialized pull-out instruction and push-in support to students on your caseload.
• Complete all IEP and Progress Report paperwork per DESE regulations.
• Use data to drive and differentiate instruction for students with learning differences.
• Serve as liaison for teachers, families, and staff to ensure students meet IEP goals.
• Foster a positive classroom culture with high expectations and respect for students from diverse backgrounds.
