Job summary

Hormone and Wellness Clinic in Birmingham, Michigan seeks a Michigan-licensed physician to serve as Collaborating Physician for a new clinic focusing on men's hormone therapy, women's health, menopause care, medical weight management, and IV therapy.

This part-time/contract role involves collaborating with a Michigan-licensed NP to ensure safe, evidence-based patient care, oversight, and compliant prescribing.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Michigan physician license.
• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, or related field.
• Current professional liability coverage appropriate to the responsibilities.
• Experience in outpatient medicine, hormone therapy, women's health, menopause care, or wellness medicine preferred.
• Familiarity with testosterone prescribing, laboratory monitoring, and medical weight management is an advantage.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and willingness to collaborate with a Nurse Practitioner.
• Knowledge of Michigan's physician–NP collaboration, prescribing, and corporate practice requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide physician oversight and clinical collaboration per Michigan law and standards.
• Collaborate with the Nurse Practitioner on patient care and treatment planning.
• Be available for professional consultation on complex cases and questions.
• Offer guidance on hormone therapy and wellness protocols.
• Support development of treatment protocols for women's health, menopause, and IV therapy.
