Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Warehouse Order Selector to pick cases and containers from multi-level warehouse racks. You will load pallets for shipment using an electric pallet jack/forklift, ensuring safety and quality standards and supporting efficient product flow.

The role requires lifting heavy items, working in dry/cooler/freezer environments, and complying with safety and EPJ certification within training. This is a full-time, on-site position in Illinois.

Qualifications

• Ability to work scheduled shifts, including overtime.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly.
• Ability to lift 10-35 lbs regularly and up to 60-100 lbs.
• Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (dry/cooler/freezer).
• Ability to pass post-offer drug test and background check.
• Ability to become EPJ certified within training period.
• Ability to complete required training independently.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and procedures per company guidelines.
• Review schedule, obtain supplies and prep for operations.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location guidelines.
• Place pallets on pallet jack and locate products on racks.
• Move palletized orders to shipping dock; shrink wrap if needed.
• Replace batteries and complete vehicle inspection checklist.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
