Job summary

Arcadia Cold Storage and Logistics in Joshua, TX is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to oversee the use, care, and operation of refrigeration and related equipment in a state-of-the-art cold storage facility. The role focuses on leading a maintenance team and ensuring safe, reliable operations.

You will perform repairs, monitor temperatures and evaporators, conduct weekly leak checks, and coordinate with the General Manager on upcoming projects and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of maintenance professionals.

• Perform refrigeration repairs, cleaning and full service including: monitor refrigeration system, check freezer temps, inspect evaporators, weekly leak checks, and vessel levels.
• Coordinate with General Manager on upcoming major projects and budgeting.
• Set up and install new equipment or renovate equipment as directed.
• Perform demand and preventive maintenance for the facility.
• Provide off-hour call and weekend coverage for outages.
