Job summary

Arcadia Cold Storage and Logistics in Georgia seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform refrigeration repairs, monitor systems, and conduct preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment including forklifts.

Responsibilities include reading manuals and work orders, installing new equipment, and ensuring OSHA compliance while maintaining inventory records of repairs and service cycles. Must have 2–3 years of related experience and be able to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 2–3 years in warehouse inventory-related work or training.
• Ability to identify technical defects in refrigeration and other facility equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge of refrigeration and warehouse maintenance is desirable.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team with safety in mind.

Responsibilities

• Perform refrigeration repairs, cleaning and full service of the refrigeration system.
• Monitor refrigeration systems and freezer temperatures; inspect evaporators during walk-throughs.
• Conduct leak checks and routine maintenance on all refrigeration vessels and equipment.
• Maintain inventory records of machinery, repairs and service cycles.
• Set up/install new equipment and perform general warehouse upkeep while following OSHA rules.
