Job summary

Arcadia Cold Storage and Logistics is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a team responsible for the maintenance of refrigeration systems and material handling equipment in a cold storage facility. The role requires ensuring equipment operability, safety, and adherence to budget and schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 2–3 years of warehouse inventory-related experience or training.
• Ability to identify technical defects in refrigeration system and all other equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
• Knowledge of refrigeration and warehouse maintenance skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of the organization.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills with ability to prioritize and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the work of a team of maintenance professionals.
• Lead by example with company values: Integrity, Accountability, Transparency, Impact, Humility, and Community.
• Perform refrigeration repairs, cleaning and full service including monitoring the refrigeration system, freezer temperatures, evaporators, and leak checks.
• Coordinate with General Manager on upcoming major projects and budget balancing.
• Set up and install new equipment or renovate existing equipment as directed.
• Perform preventive maintenance for the cold storage facility.
• Utilize onsite motorized lift and equipment; inspect, calibrate, and maintain machinery.
• Provide off-hour call and weekend coverage for outages.
