Job summary

United States Cold Storage, Inc. is hiring for a warehouse associate in Arlington, TX. Responsibilities include loading/unloading trailers, measuring and verifying shipments, and managing inventory with scanners.

You will operate a forklift and other equipment in a cold warehouse environment, following safety procedures and company policies. The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 70 lbs, and willingness to work overtime.

Qualifications

• Previous high reach forklift and/or warehouse training.
• Bend and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Lift up to 70lbs occasionally with assistance.
• Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work overtime is an essential part of this position due to demand.
• Operate scanners, tablets, radio, phones, and other warehouse machinery.
• Work in a temperature range of +50 to -30 degrees F with moderate noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load trailers and verify proper stacking and freight not being mixed on pallets, one item to a pallet as required unless instructed otherwise.
• Check product against driver manifest; report shortages and damages to supervisor.
• Identify and recover any received or shipping damage.
• Assist in physical inventories with scanners; ensure proper stock rotation.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment; ensure exact number and lot numbers match picking documents.
• Move product using forklift, clamp truck, slip-sheet or other power equipment; keep area clean and safe.
