Job summary

United States Cold Storage Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support cold-chain facility operations in Indiana. You will load/unload trailers, manage product integrity and temperature controls, and assist with inventories.

The role requires lifting up to 70 lbs, operating scanners and forklifts, and maintaining safe, efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment. The position emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Bend and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Lift up to 70 lbs. occasionally, with assistance.
• Work in a temperature range from +50°F to -30°F with moderate noise levels.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Operate scanners, tablets, radios, phones, computers, and other essential warehouse equipment.
• Follow verbal and written instructions and company policies.
• Be a self-starter, able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load trailers verifying proper product stacking and that product is not being mixed on pallets.
• Ensure product is accounted for, free of infestation, and within its acceptable temperate range prior to storage.
• Identify and recover damaged product per policy and report shortages/overages.
• Assist in physical inventories to safeguard customer product.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment with correct lot numbers and locations.
• Stack product to build pallets and wrap them for stability.
• Perform picking duties meeting customer service and company standards.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as required.
• Maintain equipment in a neat, clean, orderly fashion and inspect daily for safety.
