Job summary

United States Cold Storage is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Associate to join our team in Texas. This role involves loading and unloading trailers, verifying shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory using scanners and tablets.

You will operate forklifts and assist with order picking, while upholding safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have forklift or warehouse experience, be able to lift heavy loads, and work overtime as needed to meet daily demands.

Qualifications

• High reach forklift experience or warehouse training preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 70 lbs occasionally.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Unload/load trailers and verify stacking for stability.
• Count and verify shipments against manifests, check for damage and proper temperatures.
• Assist with inventory using scanners and complete order picking with accurate lot numbers.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment safely; conduct daily inspections.
