Job summary

Americold is seeking a Forklift Operator in the United States to ensure safe receipt, storage, and shipment of food products using sit-down and stand-up forklifts, RF scanners, and related equipment. You will load, unload, and stock items while maintaining accuracy and safety within an environmentally controlled facility.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to meet production standards, and the flexibility to work overtime, evenings, or weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely using appropriate equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick/assemble orders for shipment, inspect for damage or infestation.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners safely; maintain a clean, orderly work environment.
• Perform inventory, cleaning, and battery changes; may perform other duties as needed.
