Dreisbach Enterprises, Inc. in Richmond, CA is hiring Facility Maintenance Technicians to join our engineering team. You will help maintain electrical, HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, and refrigeration systems, perform routine and preventive maintenance, and operate a variety of hand and power tools under supervision.

We value safety, good communication, teamwork, and a willingness to learn new technologies. Evening, weekend, and holiday shift availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, as well as multi-task
• Able to operate a wide variety of power tools, motorized pallet-jacks and warehouse equipment
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
• Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) preferred

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe work environment and follow all safety rules and procedures
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems under supervision
• Perform basic carpentry tasks such as repairing doors, windows, and doors
• Assist with painting and general facility upkeep
• Operate a wide variety of hand and power tools such as wrenches, sockets, gear pullers screwdrivers, jacks, drill press, screw gun, electric drill, etc.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on the building systems
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Report any safety hazards or concerns to management promptly
