Job summary

Dreisbach Enterprises in Richmond, CA is seeking Facility Maintenance Technicians to support our cold storage facility. You will perform building maintenance across electrical, HVAC, plumbing and carpentry tasks, troubleshoot equipment, and help ensure safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe work environment and follow safety rules.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems under supervision.
• Perform basic carpentry tasks such as repairing doors and windows.
• Assist with painting and general facility upkeep.
• Operate hand and power tools listed, and tools/equipment as required.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Report safety hazards or concerns to management promptly.

Job description

We are seeking Facility Maintenece Technicians to join our team in Richmond, CA. Candidates should possess a well-rounded knowledge of facility operations to include experience in any of the following areas: building maintenance (electrical, HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, welding) material handling equipment, and industrial refrigeration.

$22 - $26 depending on experience

Join our talented engineering team that supports all maintenance aspects of our Cold Storage Facility. Our facility maintenance technicians:

• Promote a safe work environment and follow all safety rules and procedures
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems under supervision
• Perform basic carpentry tasks such as repairing doors, windows, and doors
• Assist with painting and general facility upkeep
• Operate a wide variety of hand and power tools such as wrenches, sockets, gear pullers screwdrivers, jacks, drill press, screw gun, electric drill, etc.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on the building systems
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Report any safety hazards or concerns to management promptly

WORK ENVIORNMENT

• Able to climb up and down ladders, scaffolding, and stairwells
• Able to lift/move heavy objects using carts and hand trucks
• Able to sit, stand, bend and walk for extended periods
• Work varied hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays) depending on operational needs
• Able to work in various environments, including temperature-controlled facilities and outdoor settings

Job Requirements

• Able to properly operate a wide variety of power tools, motorized pallet-jacks and warehouse equipment
