Job summary

Dreisbach Enterprises in Richmond, CA is hiring Facility Maintenance Technicians to join our team. You will apply broad knowledge of facilities operations across electrical, HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, and refrigeration to keep our cold storage environment running smoothly.

We offer an hourly wage of $22-$26 depending on experience and provide opportunities to work on a variety of building systems while following safety rules and contributing to a collaborative engineering team.

Qualifications

• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing; multi-task.
• Operate a wide variety of power tools, pallet-jacks, and warehouse equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
• Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) preferred.
• Successful applicants must pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe work environment and follow all safety rules and procedures
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems under supervision
• Perform basic carpentry tasks such as repairing doors, windows, and doors
• Assist with painting and general facility upkeep
• Operate a wide range of hand and power tools.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on the building systems
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Report any safety hazards or concerns to management promptly
