Local candidates are preferred and in-person interviews are required; this is a non-tipping club. Responsibilities include prepping desserts and cold plates, ensuring correct portions, and maintaining quality across all cold kitchen tasks.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED.
• Certificate or diploma in bakery and pastry culinary arts training or degree program.
• At least three years of pastry chef experience in a retail, club, hotel, restaurant, or institutional setting.
• Ability to obtain government licenses or permits.
• TB clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Washes, peels, slices and mixes ingredients for salads and cold plates.
• Carves and slices cold meats and cheese.
• Portions and arranges food on serving dishes.
• Prepares dressings and cold desserts; makes sandwiches to order.
• Maintains quality and correct portions for all products.
• Prepares fruit and breakfast items as needed.
