Job summary

United States Cold Storage, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate for Monday-Thursday days (7am-5:30pm) in Hebron, IN. The role focuses on loading/unloading, product receiving, and palletizing in a cold-storage facility.

Ideal candidates will lift heavy loads, operate scanners and forklifts, and maintain safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Training and equipment handling are part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Occasional lift up to 70 lbs with assistance.
• Work in temperatures from +50°F to -30°F in a noisy environment.
• Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, clamp trucks, slip-sheets, and turret trucks.

Responsibilities

• Unload/load trailers and verify proper product stacking and pallet integrity.
• Ensure customer product is accounted for, free of infestation, codes valid, and within temperature range prior to storage.
• Identify and report damaged product; communicate shortages/overages to supervisor.
• Assist in physical inventories and prepare product for shipment.
• Palletize, wrap, and secure product for transportation; ensure lot numbers match documents.
• Perform picking duties efficiently to meet service standards.
