Job summary

United States Cold Storage, Inc. is seeking a dependable warehouse associate to support daily facilities operations in a cold-chain environment.

You will handle loading/unloading, ensure accurate product placement, and help maintain inventory accuracy while following safety and sanitation standards. This role requires physically demanding work, lift up to 70 lbs, and the ability to work in temperatures ranging from +50°F to -30°F.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs., occasionally more with assistance.
• Comfort working in cold environments from +50°F to -30°F.
• Experience in warehouse operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load trailers, verify proper product stacking and that product is not mixed on pallets.
• Ensure customer product is accounted for, free of infestation, and within acceptable temperature range before storage.
• Identify and report damaged product or shortages to supervisor.
• Assist in physical inventories and prepare product for shipment.
• Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, slip-sheets, and turret trucks to move and stack product.
• Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean, orderly fashion.
• Inspect equipment daily to ensure safe operation.
