Job summary

Americold is seeking a maintenance associate to perform general maintenance and repair tasks across the warehouse. The role includes battery and charger maintenance, safety inspections, and operating standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, basic mechanical aptitude, and able to follow written and verbal instructions. The position may involve on-call shifts and exposure to controlled temperatures and hazardous

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge and aptitude.
• Mathematical calculation and documentation skills.
• Basic computer skills including email, internet searches, and data entry.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair batteries and chargers in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Facilitate and manage the battery changing process within the warehouse.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and battery chargers as needed.
• Clean and lubricate machinery parts to ensure proper functioning.
• Maintain tools and machinery in good working condition.
