Job summary

Wild Fork Foods is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for our frozen food distribution network in North Carolina. You will support daily flow of distribution center activities, manage transportation scheduling, documentation, and carrier communication, ensuring cold chain integrity and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or warehouse coordination (cold chain preferred).
• Familiarity with WMS/TMS platforms and RF scanning technology.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and reporting tools.
• Strong communication, time management, and problem solving in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Schedule inbound and outbound shipments with carriers, brokers, and internal teams.
• Confirm appointment times, trailer requirements, delivery windows, and special instructions.
• Monitor shipment progress to ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
• Communicate delays, risks, or service issues affecting operations or customers.
• Prepare and review Bills of Lading, packing lists, invoices, and carrier paperwork.
• Verify seal integrity, trailer temperatures, and shipping documents for accuracy.
• Maintain shipment records in digital and physical systems and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate inbound receiving and track discrepancies or damaged goods.
• Release outbound orders to carriers and confirm load planning requirements.
• Support loading with sequencing, routing, and pallet configuration details.
• Track outbound performance and escalate misses or late departures.
• Maintain accurate shipment data in TMS/WMS and generate logistic reports.
• Support ad hoc logistics analysis and KPI reporting.
