Job summary

Americold is seeking a Forklift Operator in Taunton to safely receive, store, and ship food products. You will operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, high-reach equipment, and RF scanners, while ensuring safety and accuracy in line with OSHA standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment to move products to storage.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, check freight for damage and infestation, label, wrap, and pack as directed by management.
• Operate equipment (various forklift types and RF scanners) in a safety-conscious manner per OSHA standards.
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
• Perform inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes as needed.
