Americold is seeking a Forklift Operator in Sioux City, IA for a shift Thu-Sun? no, Mon-Fri 5:00pm-1:30am. The role involves receiving, storing, and shipping food products using various forklifts and RF scanners in a temperature-controlled environment.

You will stack, pick, and label orders, ensure accuracy, and maintain safety and production standards while adhering to attendance policies and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using proper equipment to move products to storage.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment, check freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation, and label/sort/wrap/repack as directed by management.
• Operate forklifts and RF scanners safely in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean, orderly work environment.
• Assist with inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes as needed.
