Job summary

Americold is seeking a Forklift Operator (Finance) in Idaho to safely load/unload freight and stock products in a cold storage environment. You will operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts, RF scanners, and other equipment to move cases and pallets to designated areas.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year forklift experience and the ability to work a 2:30 pm–11:00 pm shift in a freezer/cooler environment, including lifting 40–50 lbs and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required or preferred; 1 year forklift experience stated.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely using proper equipment to move products to storage.
• Stack and store merchandise; pick and assemble orders for shipment, check freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation, while labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as directed by management.
