Arrive Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented Claims Analyst to join Arrive Fresh in Austin, TX. You’ll own a portfolio of temperature-controlled and perishable cargo claims, driving timely, defensible outcomes and protecting the company’s financial position.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in cargo claims, deep knowledge of PACA, Carmack, USDA, and FSMA, and strong negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency with Google Workspace, TMS, and claims software is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of cargo claims management experience, with emphasis on 3PL, freight brokerage, or cargo insurance environments.
• Deep knowledge of perishable freight laws and standards, including Carmack, PACA, USDA, and FSMA.
• Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and critical thinking skills with a track record of handling high-value settlements.
• Outstanding organizational skills and rigorous attention to detail in a fast-paced logistics setting.

Aufgaben

• Manage an assigned portfolio of Arrive Fresh cargo claims from filing to resolution with accurate, compliant outcomes.
• Investigate and resolve temperature-controlled freight claims, applying PACA guidelines and Carmack Amendment.
• Negotiate and settle cargo loss, damage, or shortages within authority levels.
• Mitigate losses by coordinating salvage, redistribution, or disposal following food-safety requirements.
• Collect and validate documentation to build defensible positions for recovery and subrogation.
• Reconcile claim-related receivables and payables and secure releases.
• Track data to flag risks, trends, and carrier performance for leadership review.
• Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Carrier Sales, and Operations on disputed shipments.
• Escalate complex/high-value claims to Risk Manager with clear summary and path forward.
• Monitor cold-chain compliance, reefer certifications, and FSMA transport rules.
