Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a Coin Operator to ensure product quality and proper packaging while maintaining a safe, organized work area. You will inspect products to the Control Plan, package in approved dunnage, and create bar code labels for traceability.

You will also be empowered to shut down processes producing discrepant material, dispose of scrap, and complete check sheets to verify compliance with visual and dimensional specs.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for 10 hours and move the parts through process.
• Previous inspection experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspection of product per Control Plan requirements
• Packaging of product in customer approved dunnage
• Recording of production and creation of bar code label for product traceability
• Authorized and empowered to shut down process that is producing discrepant material
• Disposal and recording of dispositioned scrap
• Complete job specific check sheets to demonstrate compliance and/or noncompliance to visual and dimensional specifications per Control Plan requirements
• Proper operation of coin press to ensure associate safety and part quality
• Maintain clean and safe work environment
