Job summary

Dauch is seeking a Quality Technician to help maintain quality standards for produced parts. The role involves regular inspections on the floor and in the Quality Lab, using gauges to verify dimensions and operating computerized gauging systems.

Responsibilities include LPAs, managing NCM inventory, recording issues, and contributing to process improvements while maintaining safety and adherence to drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Blueprint reading proficiency required.
  • Basic GD&T knowledge required.
  • Strong communication skills necessary.
  • Root cause analysis experience preferred.
  • Gage R&R knowledge required.
  • Gaging methods, evaluation and calibration familiarity.
  • Leadership qualities beneficial.
  • Experience with CMMs preferred.

  • Regular part inspections on the floor and in the Quality Lab
  • Utilizing various gages and measurement techniques to verify dimensions of production parts
  • Operate computerized gauging in quality labs
  • Inspection and disposition of gages
  • Complete weekly LPAs
  • NCM inventory and organization
  • Identify and record any problems relating to product, process, and quality system
  • Provide input on improving operation efficiencies
  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
  • Operate machines in accordance with process sheets and any other required paperwork (i.e. drawings, specifications, etc.)
  • All other duties as assigned
