Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking a Machine Operator to operate and change over equipment on the production cell. The role involves working 2nd or 3rd shifts with pay starting at $20.99 per hour, plus shift differentials of $1.00/hr on 2nd shift and $0.60 on 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Set up/change over equipment within the cell/line at standard operating rates with minimal downtime.
• Operate and change over Primary/Secondary equipment within the cell/line per standard work practices.
• Demonstrate knowledge of process troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, change management, gauging techniques, and quality functionality.
• Understand material scheduling, MANMAN reporting, and machine scheduling with knowledge of continuous improvement.
• Adhere to safety and environmental policies and recognize hazards.
• Possess basic math understanding related to machine design, drawings, lubrication and hydraulics.
• Train new employees and may perform advanced maintenance functions.

Demonstrate full knowledge of process trouble shooting, preventive maintenance, change management procedures, gauging techniques, and perform all quality functionality.

Understand material scheduling processes, MANMAN reporting, machine scheduling, and manufacturing theories including continuous process improvement.

Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of safety and environmental policies and procedures and be able to recognize potential safety hazards.

Demonstrate a solid understanding of basic math concepts along with machine design, stage drawings, process troubleshooting, lubrication and hydraulics.

Train new employees and may be required to perform advanced level functions including preventive maintenance functionality.
