Job summary

Ascendo Resources represents a well-established construction company in Pompano Beach, FL seeking an experienced COI Verification Administrator to join the team. You will review, track, and maintain subcontractor and vendor insurance documentation to ensure full compliance with contract requirements and project needs.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of COI verification or construction-insurance experience.
• Strong knowledge of ACORD certificates and endorsements.
• Familiarity with additional insured requirements and waiver language.
• Proficiency in Excel, Outlook and document-management systems.
• Experience with COI tracking platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review subcontractor and vendor COIs for contract compliance.
• Verify coverage limits and key policy types (GL, auto, WC, employers’ liability, umbrella).
• Confirm endorsements (additional insured, waiver of subrogation, primary and non-contributory).
• Identify deficiencies, expirations, and missing endorsements.
• Communicate with subcontractors, brokers, and internal teams to obtain updates.
• Track policy expiration dates and request renewals to prevent lapses.
• Maintain COI records, logs, databases, and documentation.
• Verify vendors before site entry and collaborate with project teams on compliance matters.
• Provide regular reporting on deficiencies and expirations; assist audits and risk projects.
