Job summary

Arch Insurance Group Inc. seeks a Cohort Leader for the MCE Academy to guide early career underwriters through an 18-month program, developing technical capabilities and progression to appropriate authority levels.

The role shapes curriculum, delivers training, and leverages AI-enabled tools to enhance learning and scalability. You will mentor participants, coach on performance, and collaborate with supervising managers to ensure readiness and excellence within Arch’s Middle Market Commercial

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in a relevant field.
• Ten years of underwriting experience in Middle Market or large commercial casualty UW business.
• Technical knowledge across product lines: Property, GL, Auto, WC, Umbrella, Inland Marine, Crime.
• Experience with learning and development tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cohort of Early Career Program underwriters for 18 months.
• Provide coaching, feedback and career readiness guidance.
• Facilitate training sessions, case studies and simulations.
• Monitor progress against learning objectives and authority readiness.
• Collaborate with supervisors on performance and progression.
• Identify curriculum gaps and drive continuous improvement of content.
