Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a NICE CXone Engineer to join our IVR/conversational flows team, focusing on Cognigy-based call flows, OTP authentication, and CRM/data integrations for a seamless caller experience. This role requires hands-on development in a cross-functional setting with designers, lead developers, and integration specialists.

You will implement and test OTP/MFA, integrate with NICE CXone, participate in data lake reporting, and align with enterprise governance standards.

Qualifications

• Experience building IVR/conversational flows on Cognigy or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of GraphQL and REST API integration patterns.
• Developing complex self-service in IVR/IVA environments.
• Auth flows (OTP/MFA) in telephony or conversational contexts.
• Familiarity with NICE CXone and real-time CRM data integration.
• Understanding of microservices architecture principles.
• Experience with automation testing for conversational/IVR flows.
• Ability to work within enterprise governance and ARB processes.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure IVR call flows within Cognigy, including MVP and OTP authentication.
• Translate caller journeys into functioning conversational flows.
• Implement OTP/MFA in call flow logic.
• Integrate call flows with CRM data systems for personalized experiences.
• Support NICE integration in coordination with consultants and designers.
• Participate in automation testing to ensure quality before release.
• Collaborate on microservices-based architecture and GraphQL/CCN implementations.
• Support Data Lake integration for reporting and analytics.
• Adhere to Cognigy governance, access controls, and ARB processes.
• Assist with reporting requirements as needed.
