Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Field Service Technician for Coffee & Vending equipment in Charlotte, NC. You will diagnose, repair, and recondition equipment at customer locations and in profit centers, including installation and servicing to ensure optimal operation.

You will handle electrical/mechanical diagnostics, maintain documentation, and uphold safety standards while building positive customer relations. This role requires lifting and physical activity, with PPE as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Solid understanding in repairing small electrical appliances.
• Willing to learn how to connect equipment to water sources, add lines and drainage when vital.
• Willing to learn how to work with copper, braided and pex lines (6 months to 1 year experience or vocational training).
• The ability to read and write in English is required.
• Must possess effective communication and customer service skills.
• Incumbent must have an acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license.
• Role may require lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking; PPE may be used.

Responsibilities

• Calls on customers to investigate operating difficulties of equipment; diagnose problems and determine corrective actions.
• Make repairs or adjustments to equipment to restore operation.
• Clean and maintain equipment on location and exchange decanters and clean brewers.
• Document closing calls, invoice completion, asset verification, and customer documentation.
