Job summary

S&D Coffee in Conway, Arkansas, is seeking a MO1 Machine Operator I – Batching to operate batching equipment safely and accurately, preparing coffee blends that meet production specs, and supporting quality and throughput goals.

You will collaborate with the Processing Supervisor and team, perform pre-batch checks, monitor parameters, document batch data, assist with packaging, and follow all safety and PPE protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience operating batching systems or manufacturing equipment is preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed batch specifications and procedures.
• Familiarity with quality checks and record-keeping processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate batching equipment to prepare coffee blends per specifications.
• Select batching bins and initiate batching via computer interface.
• Monitor and adjust batching parameters for consistency and quality.
• Perform pre-batch checks including weight and blend verification.
• Coordinate with QA to collect and submit batch samples.
• Maintain records of batch numbers, lot codes, and production times.
• Coordinate with line support for materials and delivery of batched coffee.
• Troubleshoot basic to moderate batching issues.
• Follow safety protocols, PPE usage, and cleanliness standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
