Job summary

Datavant is a health-tech data collaboration platform enabling secure, accessible health data. The COE Director-Operations role is a critical enabler of Legal and Insurance operations, partnering with executive COE leaders to set strategic goals and execute them.

You will lead the COE's operational strategy, budget, and continuous improvement initiatives, applying Lean and Six Sigma to drive efficiency, cost reduction, and value for customers, while building a strong management bench.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in management, business, engineering or related field.
• 5-7 years of leadership experience.
• Lean Principles, Six Sigma, or Quality Management background preferred.
• Strong computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Owns the COE's operational strategy and multi-year plans with measurable objectives.
• Directs the function through subordinate managers; builds a strong leadership bench.
• Holds full accountability for the COE's budget and financial results, with resource planning.
• Develops, implements, and governs the operational systems, processes, and KPIs for visibility into goals and progress.
• Leads continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma and other methodologies to eliminate defects and add value.
